Responsible Gambling

Welcome to our responsible gambling page at SpinLynx. Gambling should primarily be an entertaining and exciting pastime. For the vast majority of our players, it is. However, we are aware that gambling can become a burden for some individuals.

We at SpinLynx want you to remain in control at all times. Our goal is to provide you with a safe, transparent, and secure environment where you can play with peace of mind. If you ever feel that gambling is negatively affecting your life, we are here to support you with advice, action, and effective protection tools.

Our Philosophy: Protection and Care

Gambling must never be seen as a method to solve financial problems, pay off debts, or win back lost money. It is a leisure activity paid for with money that you can afford to set aside for this purpose and whose loss you can bear.

We take our social responsibility in the United Kingdom very seriously. This site operates under a Curaçao licence and is not regulated by the UK Gambling Commission.

Early Recognition: Are You in Control?

It is often not easy to notice when a harmless hobby turns into problematic behaviour. To help you make an honest assessment, we have put together some guiding questions.

If you answer "Yes" to several of the following questions, you should consider taking a break from gambling and seeking professional help:

  • Do you often play longer or spend more money than you originally planned?
  • Do you try to win back lost money quickly by taking even higher risks?
  • Do you borrow money or sell possessions to continue gambling?
  • Do you neglect your work, family, or personal responsibilities because of gambling?
  • Do you feel irritable, anxious, or stressed when you cannot gamble?
  • Is there conflict in your circle of friends or family because of your gambling behaviour?
  • Do you lie about the time or money you spend on gambling?

Our Safety Net Tools

To help you maintain your limits, SpinLynx provides you with a range of effective control tools. You can activate or adjust these at any time directly in your user account under the player protection settings.

Deposit Limits

Set yourself firm financial limits before you start playing. You can set daily, weekly, or monthly maximum limits for your deposits.

  • Reduction: A reduction of your limit takes effect immediately.
  • Increase: For impulse protection reasons, an increase or removal of a limit only comes into force after a mandatory cooling-off period of at least 24 hours and re-confirmation.

Loss Limits

A loss limit prevents you from losing more money than you can afford. It restricts the amount of money you are allowed to lose from your deposited funds within a specific timeframe.

Session Limits (Time-Out / Reality Check)

Time often flies when playing. Our reality checks display notifications at regular intervals (for example, after one hour) to remind you how long you have been logged in and how much you have won or lost during that session.

Cooling-Off / Temporary Self-Exclusion

If you notice that you need a short break to catch your breath, you can activate a temporary cooling-off period. Your account will be locked for a period of your choice (e.g, 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, or up to 6 months). During this time, neither logging in nor depositing is possible, and promotional communications are paused.

Full Self-Exclusion

If you feel you have completely lost control of your gambling behaviour, you should consider a longer-term or permanent exclusion. Self-exclusion excludes you from all our services for at least 6 months up to several years.

  • In the UK, this includes integration with schemes like GAMSTOP to ensure you are protected across all participating online gambling platforms. Note that this scheme does not cover this site: registering with it does not block an account here.
  • Early removal of a self-exclusion is strictly prohibited during the set minimum term.

Tips for a Safe Gaming Experience

With a few simple rules of thumb, you can ensure that gambling remains a safe form of entertainment:

  • Treat money as an expense: View the money you use for gambling similarly to money spent on a cinema ticket or concert — it is the price of your entertainment.
  • Set a budget: Decide in advance how much money you want to spend as a maximum, and never exceed this limit.
  • Do not chase losses: Accept losses as part of the game. Trying to win the money back immediately usually leads to even higher losses.
  • Do not play under the influence: Never gamble if you are under the influence of alcohol, medication, or heavy emotional stress.
  • Keep a balance: Ensure that gambling makes up only a small part of your free time. Maintain hobbies, see friends, and spend time outdoors.
